Just had operation on my stomach which has left scars and going on holiday tomorrow, whats the best cream to put on the scars while sun bathing?

Try a zinc cream in a natural color. Or, get a dressing from a pharmacy, like Comfeel or Duoderm which are waterproof %26quot;bandaids%26quot; that are skin colored and will protect the scar.|||The best thing you could do is wear a swim suit that will cover those scars until they are a few months old. The skin is still healing and very delicate, and the sunscreen alone could be enough to irritate them. That would affect how they heal, and you could end up with a much uglier scar as a result. As far as a cream to help with healing, you can chose to use something like Mederma, which is a scar reduction cream, or Vitamin E oil which also helps promote skin healing.
