How can i remove old scars from my body?

I have so many old scars from my childhood and they are still here! i want them gone|||There%26#039;s not much,but you can try this.(It worked with mine)Don%26#039;t stretch alot.Put a hot wash cloth on the scars every night.It should take about 1 month(depending on how big and how long ago).My doctor suggested this to me.
