I use Vitamin E gel pills for my scars. Is it ok to put leftover on my lips?

I always have a little vitamin E leftover in the gel pills after I apply some to my face. Would it benefit my lips if I just apply the rest to my lips at night and sleep in it?|||Yes!!! I do an i find that it works quite well
